26yo Woman Dies After Falling from 8th Floor of Hotel in Port Dickson

A 26-year-old woman died after falling from the 8th floor of a hotel here in an incident on Wednesday (June 25).

According to a report by Sinar Harian, the Port Dickson Fire and Rescue Department (BBP) Chief, Senior Fire Superintendent (PKPgB) Mohd Kamal Mohd Timar shared that his department received a report on the incident at around 6:30pm.

“The victim is believed to have fallen onto the balcony on the 1st floor of the hotel,” he said.

The fire brigade carried out rescue work using a bucket stretcher to bring the victim down.

“The victim was later confirmed dead by a medical officer from the Ministry of Health Malaysia (KKM), Port Dickson. The case has been handed over to the police for further investigation,” he further explained.

Meanwhile, the Port Dickson District Police Chief, Superintendent Maslan Udin, confirmed the report on the incident.

“We have just started the investigation. At this time, I am not able to share further information. Further information on the case will be provided after the post-mortem process is completed,” he said.
