“Plan ahead” – Maybank2u & Several Other Maybank Services Will Be Unavailable This Weekend

Maybank has scheduled a system maintenance exercise for their services, which will begin on October 12 at 12 AM and is expected to last for several hours.

To keep customers informed, Maybank announced on its Facebook page the specific list of services that will be affected during this maintenance period.

Some services will be affected

According to the post, several services will be affected and unavailable during this period, including:

  • Maybank2u
  • Maybank2u Mobile Banking services
  • Maybank ATMs and Self-Service Terminals (SSTs)

They further explained that the scheduled maintenance is set to take place on October 12 (Saturday) from 12:00 AM to 7:00 AM, and again on October 13 (Sunday) during the same hours of 12:00 AM to 7:00 AM.

“Please plan your transactions”

Maybank also clarified that this routine exercise is essential to keep their platforms up-to-date and functioning smoothly, ensuring that customers can conduct their banking transactions in a more secure environment.

They noted that the services listed above will not be available on a staggered basis over the course of both days, so they encourage everyone to plan their transactions in advance to avoid any potential interruptions.
